Welcome to DMP Definitions, a new series where I hope to bring you information on some commonly used skin care terminology.

Today, Vitamin C.
Now Iβm not talking about putting orange wedges on your face, or splashing your morning O.J. on your skin as you eat breakfast. Vitamin C is the important ingredient found in those round, juicy fruits and are placed in some moisturizers, oils and serums for the face.
Not only is Vitamin C beneficial for your health in general but itβs other benefits include: anti aging properties, reducing wrinkles, reduction of uneven skin tone, hyper pigmentation marks and it creates more collagen so you have plump and firmer skin. Who wouldnβt want that?
My product recommendation is this one by The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA 2% (HA for getting that moisture back into your skin). I have been using this product for the past few weeks and can say Iβve seen a noticeable lift in the appareance of my PIH. The red marks seem to be fading and Iβm happy about it!

So next time you find yourself wondering how you can reduce wrinkles or even out that skin tone, look no further than Vitamin C.
As always remember to love your health and have a magical day!
